Every evening while Ashland's Oregon Shakespeare Festival is running (Feb. thru Oct.) they have a free show called the Green Show that starts 1 hour before plays start. Nearly every evening it is a different show so when we heard there was going to be a troupe of rope dancers doing a pirate them show we decided it would be fun to go see.
I brought my trusty K2 and K 55/1.8 with a roll of some old Kodak Supra 100.

Checking in on this thread is making me feel guilty about the 5 rolls of film waiting for processing. Somehow, I haven't felt like spending the time in the spare bathroom. (That sounded a bit funny)

I take all my negatives to Stevebrot Professional Scanning Service

They do excellent work, with quick turn-around!

First one, in a german room mate party : around 35 people + a band in 12 m²
Second one, i was drunk, my friends were drunk too, i (tryed to) aim and focuse, and then click !
The second one, the film is in bad shape : it was the 37th photo on a roll of 36 the guy at the lab did it's best to get something decent. i was soooo lucky with this rool

Quality of my poor scanner is quite bad and grainy (my film didn't produce such grainy effect. its crystal clear in reality). it's a HP Photosmart C3180, Scanned 2400dpi in Tiff, then CS5 just for contrast and tone.

Pentax Super A + A50/1.7 @1.7, 1/30, ilford Delta 400.

Trying something very new here, at least for me. These were originally taken on my K1000 with expired film. Then I photographed the negatives with my K10D and played with them. I was intending to do this as a way of making good quality digital copies, but I'm now far more interested in the lomo style colours and OOF areas, contrasts etc. I am getting. Also interesting how differently they are coming out according to what background I take them against.

Nikon Super Coolscan 5000 ED for 35mm

Epson V700 for 120 and 4x5
This is actually an area where many of us can be helpful to other users. A few technical notes regarding scanning and PP would be nice to include when we post.

being a beginner, I didn't want to go to crazy spending money on scanning equipment. I ended up buying an Epson Perfection 4490 (comparable to the v500, but a little cheaper). Almost all of the film shots I've posted were scanned with this scanner from film or slides, and it's been great for me so far. I'm not that advanced though, so I imagine I'm missing out on some technical specs. anyhow, with the scanner and its included Epson Scan software, and some minimal post-processing in Photoshop CS, here are some more results:

Some shots taken in Paris last weekend. All taken with ME Super with either Pentax M50 f/1.7 or Takumar 28mm f/2.8. All shot on Neopan 1600 @3200 and developed in Tmax developer.

Champs-Élysées from top of Arc de Triomphe

Eiffel tower from top of Arc de Triomphe. Handheld at either 1/15 or 1/30 sec and not that sharp but I like the effect.

Metro station

Street buskers at the top of the steps near Sacre Cour in Montmartre. They were really good and we watched them for 30 minutes.
