I got the Ferrania stash via info from Bill (chubasco, Katastrofo)...

These two kind of go together... I think.

Ferrania 100 on both, first a Chinon Pocket Dual AF-P:

Then a Canon Autoboy Luna XL I got from Bill:

I was testing some expired (in 2006) Konica Minolta VX100 (24 frames) and I'm very pleased with the results. I also tested my "new" Pentax MZ-5n, also used a FA 50mm f1.4 and scanned with Epson V600.

Jussi, love the light and colors in both! (I wondered why my ears were red)

Here's one using Ferrania 400:

Contax 137MA, Zeiss Planar 1.7/50

Which do you think would fly better, a "Women on Film" or a "Portraits on Film" thread?

hello all. here's a few new ones from me. all but the last shot are from my K1000 with a Vivitar (Kiron) 75-205mm Macro focusing f/3.5 on Kodak Ektar 100. I am noticing this lens does not render color all that well. most shots came out pretty pale compared to how my M50 1.7 does with the Ektar. ether way, I'm very happy with some of these shots. I wish the sky came out better on some, but I assume that's because I need to use some filters.

(that's the actual film edges, full frame, zero cropping)

(another full frame, edge to edge)

...and one from the Hasselblad 500 C/M, Fuji Reala 100:

any feedback is appreciated, have a great weekend folks!

@pentaxk1000denver: Nice results and nicely scanned. What scanner did you used? The sky on the first one i just amazing, really nice Ektar tones.

thanks! that was my favorite one as well. I scan with an Epson 4490 at 3200 dpi, using the Epson film holders. I did very slight adjustments in Levels and Contrast on some of these in Photoshop CS.

I just scanned in high resolution another frame from the Konica Minolta VX100 film, I'm just amazed with it. MZ-5n + FA50mm 1.4 (wide open) + Epson V600

@pentaxk1000denver: Thnx for the infos.

@easytiger: How did you metered the light ?? Amazing BW shots.

@pentaxk1000denver: after seeing your pictures, I just don't have any more appetite for a K-5 even though its price has gone down below 1k. I think in landscape photography, 35mm film easily beats most digital cameras ( including K-5) in contrast and resolution. Nowadays buying a digital camera is a money losing business; in one or two years, it's obsolete.
