violini - thank, I'll take that as a compliment as I'm usually a little intimidated by digital photography.

easytiger - great stuff, especially the set from the monastery! I love the detail and sharpness of medium format.

esdy_11192 - your scan looks great as well. nice lens, too. I'd like to pick up the k or m version one of these days...

bigjuan2001 - I especially like the two black and white shots.

aurele - thank you! but which one are you referring to?

number 5 the first one with the buidlings and blue sky.

I usually get one of the element well expose and the other is under or over expose. can it be the battery of my SuperA ? If its dead, it can do mistake in the measuring ?

These four are Kodak UltraMax 400 with a Kr-5 Super II. This is the first roll of UltraMax that I've used and I think I would only buy it if it is the same price as Fuji Superia. But I see that CVS has a sale on it every other month or so. It just doesn't seem better than Fuji.

some nice shots in the last couple posts! I love this thread.

aurele - I think I metered the buildings and then the sky and just found the in between. I shot with the lens at 205mm, I believe, probably around f/8 and shutter speed 60. maybe I just got lucky?

@easytiger: Total respect for the guessing then. The series at a monastery is quite interesting, I like the motion blur on some of the shots.

@womble: Wow, I would never guess a Lubitel could pull out that kind of shot. Not a sign of vignetting.

@bigjuan2001: The first one is really nice composed, like those shots.

@pentaxk1000denver: Thanks, I tested a lot of scanning software + work in PS to achieve something that I would be satisfied with. The lens is amazing, I got it for a bargain. I also have the M version, that I damaged a little bit the aperture ring (I should fix that).

Another shot from me, the same Konica Minolta film. More back light, but the metering on the MZ5n pull it without a problem. And the lens is the same as on the last 2 shots.

Nice shots today

Lots of nice shots today. nice 'normal' colors without too much saturation to counterpoint some monochrome. Keep it up everyone.

samtr87, shot 4 causway bridge, I like the way you caught a glow with the bridge line, it sucks the eye away into the distance, with a little hint of reality in the frondy branchy thing & pedestrian top left. Good work.

@esdy_11192 The older Lubitels (mine is a 2 from 1975) are pretty good and don't suffer from vignetting. The later, nastier, ones suffer from softness and vignetting. I was given this camera by a friend. I was going to get rid of it but thought I would run a film through it first. Since then I have used it quite a bit and often in preference to my Yashicamat. The Yashi is a much superior camera, but big and bulky compared to the Lubi and latter often gets taken because I can stuff it in the top of a bag of other stuff.
