Centuria is such an off brand (and ISO200 such an uncommon speed) that it is reasonable for someone not to recognize it. Damned shame that they have stopped production of it. I have 10 rolls left in the fridge and have 20 more on order. I'll cry when it is all gone; it has been a good friend.

Agnostic - you get super results from the Retro 100 + Baldessa... makes my heart glad to see. Ajuett - the Ilford's doing great things in your hands, and I'm sure glad to see the old school yellow filter in use. Super shots.

Having shot 5 rolls with my new 1933 Voigtlander (get first two rolls back tonight) I've boldly gone meterless and focus-aidless. Without a problem either, so far: 160 and 100 film is pretty easy to 'know your light' with.

Here, from the Kodak Retina IIa, Kodak 160NC, eye-metered at f/11 1/100, and zone focused...

Some really nice ones there ajuett!

Thanks Nesster! Good job guesstimating I've been doing the same with the Zeiss Ikon Nettar and my FED 3 Leica clone. Getting better at it as well.

Scanning a roll of Fomapan 400 pushed to 1000 in Amaloco AM74 now. I was out of high speed film and felt like some night/dusk shooting. Fomapan 400 is supposed to push like crap but we'll see how it turns out

They stopped production? Kitamura has TONS of 100, 200 and 400 Centuria. They also sell it on their website (DNP CENTURIA 200 135-24). If this stuff is going out, I'm going to have to stock up.

A shot taken while I stood under the "wing" of a life size "Cylon Raider" at the Battlestar Galactica Prop Auction in Pasadena, CA -

Shot with a K1000 with an off-brand 28mm f2.8 lens on the tail end of a roll of Tmax 400 I had pulled to 200.

Incredible street shots, indeed.

What scares me is the last shot of the woman at the pump. This is worthy of the best street shooter. If you don't get what I mean, see how the pump becomes an extension of her body. This was either an accident, or a nine-year-old has developed the eye of a forty-year-old.

Hey Robin, good to see you in our neck of the woods.

That boys shot was an accident. I helped with the crop and PP but it was his shot.I thought It was quite good, but he is already developing an eye for the ladies ''sigh''

You're quite right: I simply didn't register that it was a brand

Thanks

Some AGFA 400..I am really NOT liking this film...It has the funniest ugliest grain I have seen.
I thought it was the PP then scanning, but have determined it is just nasty ugly film...
The conversion to black and white was to try and save these.
