Was going through some old stuff yesterday.

I shot this in December of 2000 using my first camera, a Minolta XTsi, (I think, could have been an HTsi) the Maxxum AF 28-80 kit lens, and Kodak 400. I guess it doesn't speak well for the camera that it was less than a year old and had a light leak.
Colton...where was this taken?

Darn, sorry. Thanks for letting me know! I think I fixed it.... I normally use flickr but am not renewing my pro so am trying to move everything over to a new site. Guess I'm not so savvy with the privacy settings!

Anyone else use Zenfolio? I have set these to "public" and the containing folder is "public" and if I log out I can still see them. Not sure what else to try....

Took this shot with my Pentax Me Super + FA 43 limited on Kodak Portra 400, but something was not quite right with the colours from the lab processing so I converted it into B&W in Lightroom..

Here's another old one. I figured out that the camera I was using was a Minolta Maxxum HTsi Plus, basically an XTsi without eyestart, pano, and metal mount.

This was taken at the Wheeler Geological Area in southwestern Colorado in the summer of 2000.

Film was Kodak 400

Good to see some folk hitting the sweet spot with Ektar 100. Nice work.

I've had a devil of a time nailing the focus lately, so I thought I'd give autofocus a try. Picked up a ZX-7 with SMC 28-80, and a Promaster FA 70-300. Here are some of the results - all with Fuji Superia 400 and the original Walmart scan...

Irises with the Promaster

Promaster in macro mode

another Promaster in macro mode (missed the composition a bit here)

Promaster at 300mm infinity focus

A sample with the SMC 28-80

But, sometimes autofocus just can't help...

cheers!

Some recent ones with KX, K50 f/1.4 and Superia400. Not really "urbex", perhaps closer to "farmex"...
