Kris - wow, that is fantastic from the lubitel

Ricoh are now a post-facto Pentax, right? Sort of like a posthumous conversion... This again is from the Ricoh FF8WR with a 28mm panorama mode, Ferrania 400 film

Last week i tried (for the first time) to push a B&W film - ilford delta 400 @1600 - but i was wondering if i could push it more, so i didn't push it too much. Next time i'll try 3200 if the lab accept ...

I discovered, btw, the DR compression that happen when pushing film

Ilford Delta 400 @1600, MZ-5n, DA*55 @f1.4, 1/30sec.

i discovered that f1.4 with stock screen of the MZ-5n makes it hard to get pin sharp pictures ...

Ilford Delta 400 @1600, MZ-5n, DA*55 @f1.4 1/60

.. but succes can happen too !

From a Maxxum 5000 with a 50mm/f1.7 and Kodak Ultramax 400. I think I'm going to like using this camera and the lens.

Here's my Spottie

Ilford says Delta 400 can be pushed to 3200. The Delta 3200 isn't actually a 3200 film either, it's actually rated at 1000 but has the latitude to push to 3200 easily so they sell it that way.

This was taken with an Olympus XA2 at the close range setting. I think the focus is "right" but the subject must have been moving. For as "right" as XA2 focusing is capable of being.

But I like it anyway.

About six months ago I ran across a Fujica AX-1 complete with a Fujinon-X DM 50/1.6 and a Fujica Winder AXat one of the local Goodwills for $15. Mostly out of curiosity and not knowing whether it worked or not, I decided to buy it. Upon getting it home, I found out that it seemed to have a mind of it's own and it would work randomly whenever it wanted to, with no rhyme or reason. At the time, I just stuck it in the back of my cabinet, thinking that maybe someday I would play around with it and get it working or just sell it. I have been kinda curious as to how the lens might perform though since I have heard nothing but praise for most Fujinon lenses. Yesterday I took it out and after putting a good battery in it, it seemed to be in a good mood and working properly so I put a roll of Fujicolor 200 in it, put some eneloops in the winder, and went out for a shoot. It turned out that the camera had a massive light leak (this camera has one of those little windows so you can see the film canister, which I kinda forgot about and the foam was shot) and the shutter speeds were actually much slower than the viewfinder LEDs showed as everything was a fair amount over exposed and some frames had bad camera shake/motion blur despite the meter saying 1/125s.
Sorry for the long winded post

Here are 2 shots that sort of worked. I think that with a good body, the lens could produce some great results.

I'll echo that sentiment, but admit I didn't know what the Bean was until I googled "Bean Chicago". I could spend quite some time analyzing those reflections. Very nicecaptivating!
