Nothing special here - just testing a Spotmatic II in available light as my grandkids were having fun.
Can't be anymore special then that!

@Phil, nice T-Bird shots, a fine looking 21-year-old car. Loved that car myself. I also had a '64, hardtop though, back in '75. White over tan (maybe gold), also with that big 390. A great highway cruiser.

thanks for sharing.

Fred
Thanks Fred. Yep those old T-Birds were fun cars to cruise around in, if you have any pictures of yours I'd love to see them. Probably not the best car these days with the high gas prices.

When I was in college a friend had the use of a '57 bird with the big engine and I think a 4 speed manual tranny. What a ride!! Since it belonged to his Uncle or some such, he had only to be "reasonably" careful with it and feed it gas, etc. Wowzer!

Well, I do have two snapshots. Not the best quality (understatement), so I won't dishonor this thread by posting them here. I did make them available in this album:

https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/members/46306-hollywoodfred/albums/5474-old-snapshots/

And you are certainly correct regarding the gas consumption/price issue of today. But, you know, I'd willingly spend the gas money plus for an opporunity to drive one a few hundred miles just one more time. Something for my bucket list I suppose.

The '57 was a great car and fetches more than the bigger T-Birds from the 60's. That would be a dream to ride in one.

Nice I like the "Landau" top, the rag top was a pain as the hydraulics were flakey. Also when the top was down you had almost no trunk space.

Yeah I would be nice to be able to borrow an old T-Bird for a weekend in the summer! It sure would attract a lot of attention these days.

Don't think I posted these. A couple shots from a car show I stumbled upon this summer. Kodak 200, M50 1.7:

Thanks Jonathan
Your shots remind me of when I drove through Spain in the `70`s.
From Bilbao to Portugal and then back again through Salamanca to Cherbourg.
Beautiful country.

Scrolling through and that image pulled me back immediately for a much closer look. Nice job.
