i dont really know about the scanning. i took it to my local place in korea. (i dont speak korean) they usually do a fine job. never had any problems before. i guess i will save the negatives and if i ever get around to buying a scanner i will try them again? thanks!

Double Self Portrait, KX, M50/1.4, Polarizer, Fuji 400

In the interest of full disclosure, the image in the chrome was 100% intentional. I didn't even see the image on the tank until I viewed the jpeg.

Nice shot Fred, that's happened to me as well. Film is great that way, with endless surprises.

Thanks Phil. I had another surprise on that same roll. Since I didn't have a clue what caused it, I posted the question here: https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/pentax-film-slr-discussion/195597-flare.html. So now I know a little about filter reflections.

Thank you.

I recently acquired PZ-1 in supposedly good condition for a rather low price. After receiving it and looking it over, I noticed that one of the shutter blades looked slightly bent. I was worried that the shutter might be dragging because of this so I shot a quite and dirty test roll using all the main shutter speeds and it seems to be working fine. Hopefully it keeps working
Now that I've used a PZ-1, I really wish I had got one years ago when my arms were strong enough to use a camera properly. What a superb camera. I think my MZ-S might be hitting the Marketplace soon

Here's a few from the roll.
All were taken with a FA 28-80 3.5-5.6, and some very expired Fuji Superia X-TRA 400.

Swift1 -

I looked at the pictures of Etta. Marvelous! It is such fun to shoot kids before they get self-conscious.

Sorry we couldn't win you the wheelchair.

Some really good shots Swift. I sold my MZ-S not long after I received my PZ-1p and I have not missed it since.

Colton, Provia 100 looks great. Nice capture. I love looking at slide film, but I haven't been all that fond of shooting it. I've been happy with the results I've had from expired Velvia 50. Ended up getting tons of it when a friend dropped a ton of expired and freezer-stored film on me when she realized she wasn't going to ever shoot film again. (Maybe it's the cost of processing and I worry about over-exposing the highlights so I end up under-exposing or maybe it's that the results are so close to digital that I end up feeling I may as well have taken the K10 or K5 <g>). Either way, I enjoy looking at the results you and others get with reversal films.

Best,
Kevin

These were taken with my ME-Super with a Takumar 135mm f2.5, on C-41 or BW, processed in D-76, 1 to 1.

Well, this may not have worked! We'll see.

I'm getting frustrated. Time to do something else. These shots are in my Album.
