Another attempt.

Well, I'll try again! Eddie, thanks for the hint and the kind words.

the colours on that second one are very nice (it's also my favourite of the lot), do you remember which film it was?

I don't remember off hand. Probably 400 speed, likely Fuji. It was a light overcast day, which I think is best for most people shooting. Glad you enjoyed them.

Some really good shots Swift. I sold my MZ-S not long after I received my PZ-1p and I have not missed it since.
Thank you!
For me, the ergonomics of the PZ-1 are sooo much better than the MZ-S, although, I like being able to instantly switch from Av to M and then back to Av with the dial and green button on the MZ-S.

Colton, Provia 100 looks great. Nice capture. I love looking at slide film, but I haven't been all that fond of shooting it. I've been happy with the results I've had from expired Velvia 50. Ended up getting tons of it when a friend dropped a ton of expired and freezer-stored film on me when she realized she wasn't going to ever shoot film again. (Maybe it's the cost of processing and I worry about over-exposing the highlights so I end up under-exposing or maybe it's that the results are so close to digital that I end up feeling I may as well have taken the K10 or K5 <g>). Either way, I enjoy looking at the results you and others get with reversal films.

Best,
Kevin
Thanks Kevin,
I've found that if I just mostly rely on the cameras meter and do the odd bit of compensation for dark or bright subjects, and not worry to much about clipped highlights, I usually get pretty good results. Assuming the meter is accurate of course. I've also found that if I underexpose slide film, especially Velvia, though it looks good as a slide, it's a real pain to scan.
Speaking of Velvia, if you still has a bunch, I'd be interested in a straight across trade for Provia 100F, say 5 rolls for 5 rolls? I have a bunch of expired Provia 100F in 35mm, I've shot quite a bit of it and had no problems with it, it's been in my freezer ever since I acquired it. Would be fun to try some Velvia in 35mm.

Here's a few shots from a roll of Ektachrome E100VS I shot in July with my MZ-S. All were with the 43/1.9 except the car which was with my F 28/2.8

You really took advantage of the beautiful colors that the E100VS can capture but that last one is just spectacularly well executed from capture to display!

+1. That last shot is very well executed. The light is excellent and really brings out the scene. Very nice pictures. Thanks for posting.

@Colton, thanks for the advice on shooting chrome. I'll take it (and your offer of a film swap) to heart. I'll follow up with a PM to get the ball rolling. You do a great job with all the films (and cameras) you shoot and the Ektachrome above is no exception. Have to say I'm partial to the "woven" fabric shot.

Best,
Kevin

Wow, I've never seen 110 shots posted here before. I thought that film only became available again a few months ago when Lomography re-introduced a B&W film. I thought colour film had been unavailable for quite some time.
