Montman, you have some beautiful models! I love her hair. They all do it once, or twice

This was taken with the camera set on a tripod set very low, so low that I couldn't reach it due to my health.
I knew what I wanted though so I composed this blind by giving my sister directions, where to put the camera, how low, where to point etc..
then I told her what aperture and focal length, and then we used the self timer for release.
Very nice!!! Remote control works just fine!

Took my LX out for a test run today. This is the first roll I put through it and it seems to be in working order. On a side note my little girl found some scissors and cut her hair.
Pentax M 50 1.4. I had a broken MX lying around so I took at it's split prism focus screen and put it in the LX.
Wonderful images - can I ask what film you used?

All from the MX, can't remember which 50/1.7 - either the M or the Centon, Walgreens 200 film

A few weeks ago we did a walk around Central Park. I had the Autocord, first with Ektar and then with Reala 100. I metered once, at the beginning, as much of the day was cloudy. After that it was dead reckoning for the exposures

So here is the Ektar, I'll post the Reala for comparison once I've scanned the roll...

Some great shots there, Nesster. I love walking around Central Park. Haven't had the chance for a while though.

Love seeing the DSLRs in some of these images and wondering if the pictures they captured would have the impact of your film shots. Subtle commentary that it's all about the photographer. Looking forward to the Reala pics.

Best,
Kevin

Great set Nesster, what lens were you using? The ektar seems very natural looking in these shots, for some reason when I scan it in it's a little more vibrant. Though you can see some of the vibrancy in the first shot with the pink.

Thanks - the Autocord is a TLR:

In part it was the cloudy day, in part I don't get fantastic results from my Epson 4490 -- I have the betterscanning.com adjustable height 120 holder, but the one time I tried it the scanner had a fit, and would not work for a couple of days at all! I think next time I'll RTFM first, and try one or two of these to see if I can get a better result.

I did some work on one - color balance and so on, maybe this one works better?
