montman: It's grainy. Probably wasn't well exposed or developed. I'm still in the process of learning... thats why I'm very happy for both praise and critisism:-)

A leprechaun ridding a unicorn just stopped by my house and dropped off a little something.

100 rolls at 1.89 a roll. I bought a commercial developer from a lab closing down. Time to put it to good use

And I was happy when I got 40 rolls home! 100 rolls, WOW! You basically have an infinite supply of film for a considerable time forward!

Nice, hope you have a big freezer!

I was also lucky to get 43 rolls of Fuji Sensia slide film for $200.00 with prepaid processing & mounting.

Wow gofour, that is quite the deal! This will be my family film. Probably stay with 400H for weddings and Portra 160 for portrait sessions.

Great deal on the film, though I am more impressed with you having purchased a commercial processing machine! Does that mean we can start sending our film to you?

Once I get it dialed in I will start offering services to people on the Pentax Forum but it will probably be another month or two. I have been running a Fuji Frontier SP2500 all summer to scan my wedding stuff. I picked up a Noritsu scanner as well in a deal with a photo lab that was closing. I will only be able to do color for now but I plan on purchasing a commercial E6 processor come summer time.

Went up to the highest point in Georgia - Brasstown Bald, just in time to see the fall colors. With such a wide view, it seemed appropriate to make a pano - 5 frames of Kodak Ektar 100 using the Pentax LX+50mm f1.2.

Love the last shot with the fountain, that would be so blown out with digital but so perfect with film.

Here's my latest "film" shot.
I've always wanted to try this stuff but I'm kinda a cheapskate when it comes to film and it always seemed to hard to find and to pricey.
This is all new and expires in 2014.

Perhaps you should look at macodirect.de
There it's availble for a fair price as far as i know.

I don't like the APX...to grainy for a 100 iso film in my opinion
Last month I've made the decision that I only use film from the Ilford brand...not cheap, but good quality and hopefully the brand with the best future (now Kodak is in 'heavy weather')

But hey...that's just my opinion

I think everyone should try any film they fancy. Enjoy the variety while you can.
