I just have one question about this thread:

Why is the word "film" in quotation marks? They make me feel like everyone is in on a joke that I'm missing.

My interpretation only - we aren't really sharing the exact film or printed photo, but a digitized version of it, hence the quotes to indicate this understanding.

Looks great Phil. Love Vancouver.
New lens?
Thanks Colton. Yes my first outing with the 75/2.8. I have been looking for a “reasonably” priced excellent condition 75/2.8 & hood for about a year now and finally found one last month on eBay Germany. The prices for this lens are way too high most of the time.

Scanned shots from any type of film, using any film camera in any format.

Yeah, but quotation marks are only supposed to be used to quote someone -- usually someone other than yourself. So using them around one word implies that it's someone else's choice of wording, and usually a wording choice that you wouldn't agree with.

For example, consider the difference between these two sentences:

These improvements will make your use of the site more efficient.

These "improvements" will make your use of the site more "efficient".

Forget cameras, let's talk about punctuation!

BTW, I was up in your area last weekend and I stopped by Blue Moon. I love that place.
You should have dropped me a line. I work fairly close to Blue Moon and could have met you for lunch. I like Blue Moon too, though I have never been tempted to buy cameras or lenses there. $$$$

If you really want to know, you could always simply message Javier (the OP).

Steve

I'll be back up there.
They are a little pricey though comparable to KEH and they have a 6 month warranty on most items.
They have a very nice Auto Takumar 35/2.3 for quite a reasonable (still $$) price, and I was tempted by a Kodak Retina II w 47/2 Ektar lens.

Back to the thread.
Here's one from a recent ebay purchase that I'll probably resell.

Nikon FE2, Nikon Series E 50/1.8, Fujicolor 200

These are from 08 and 07, I don't know the films used, and can only guess that a Pentax Program Plus was in use. The dock shot is with a SMC-A 28/2.8

This is cropped from a square frame shot with my Bronica S2.
IIRC, it was a 1:00 minute exposer at f/16, Nikkor-P 75/2.8, expired Kodak Vericolor HC.

Another crop from a 6x6 frame. Same setup as last one.
