It's been a while, but I finally managed to shoot and develop a roll. This time I loaded the black KX with Velvia 50 slide film and I did my own scanning using the Canoscan 9000F.

Much of the roll was shot using the SMC 400/5.6 with a T6-2x converter. It was the first time using the lens, and adding the TC to it turned out to be a mistake. While the TC offered a longer reach, most of the images were soft. With hindsight, I wish I shot without the TC so I could see what the lens could do on its own.

Images are untouched other than reducing the size to meet forum requirements.

Oh Dear! SMC M50/1.7

Cheers,
Fred
Very well seen and executed!

How did you manage this? The bridge was crammed full of people when I was there.

Lovely photo, great colours.

It's a Sunday morning, 7 am, what's the matter with these people, just what do they think they're doing, should all still be in bed.

Who said the DA*55 is not sharp enough, and to push the Delta 400 to 3200 is foolish ?

(My so loved) MZ-5n, DA*55 @1.4 or 1.7, 1/60, Ilford Delta 400 pushed +3 stops @3200 iso.
