Torino, Piazza Castello.

Pentax LX, eitther A 28 or M 50 1.7. Film was Kodak Ektar 100. When exposed correctly, a wonderful film. If not... not so. I ruined several images following the advice found on the net to "expose like reversal film". Those were my first rolls of Ektar, but definitely not my last... :-)

Great night scenes Wuzet. What is your technique to get the right exposure? Do you use a light meter? I find I am pretty good in snow and at the sunnybeach, but dark scenes are a weak spot.

Since I have a 645n I'd like to know also. Funny, the 645 uses TTL flash automation so it has a sensor that reads off the film. What a pity Pentax couldn't (or wouldn't) use the sort of metering system they'd introduced with the LX, which can effortlessly handle night scenes like these.

Steve, that's historic. Not much Solaris left in this world.

Phil, the results from the soft lens are highly interesting.

Kalakatu, welcome on board, that's a nice result. Are those numbers in the sky?

I picked up a couple dozen rolls in generic brown-box pack from Four Corners Store while it was still available. Ferrania is such strange and interesting stuff in terms of what can be done in PP and is fun to work with. Too bad it is gone.

A few more Ferrania shots...

Dancing!!

Open O's

More Bright Shapes

All using Kiev 4A with LZOS Jupiter-12 35/2 on Ferrania Solaris 100

It just occurred to me that these three images together would make a nice triptych.

I've been buying Pentax film era lenses because I always knew I would get back to shooting film.
Here are a couple from my Yashica/Contax/Ilford HP days. Love this thread, BTW.
*I always wondered why I never sprayed the water on their faces (#2)
