It's been awhile since I posted last. It's taken that long to shoot a couple rolls and get them developed. With part of these rolls, I've been getting familiar with the SMC M400/5.6 - but I've still got a ways to go. Below are some of the better results. (all lab processed and scanned)

A blue Heron, shot (photographed ) locally with the MX using Fuji Superia 200, and a monopod

and again a few minutes later...

These are from Assateague Island, Maryland, using the KX and Kodak Gold 100 without a 'pod.

A Great Egret

Wild Horses and Kayakers

cheers,
Fred

One more from the MX and the Superia 200 roll - using the M50/1.4 this time.

Portra 400

I was at the Pike Place Market this last Friday. It was a mob scene (as usual), but very fun.

Thanks for the advice about where to develop film, guys. Guess I won't be trying Walmart anytime soon, although I really want to try out Walgreen's since alan_smithee_photos gets some pretty good results from them.

Well, one of my friends gave me a roll of Kodak TMAX 100 to fool around with. Here are some of my favorite shots from the roll. I ended up developing it at the local photography shop I mentioned before.

Some very nice results there. I really love the T-Max films, especially 100.

Good ones, nice and clear. Are you sure the lens is a Zenar, and not the more expensive Zenon? I must say that I have not been able to see the difference in photos.

I'm pretty sure it's a Xenon on the IIa.

Thanks! That's why I love Schneider glass. There's more to a lens than sharpness...
