That and the film rendered good skin tones. The lens is easy to use even in dark settings and the system allowed me to snap at will without the typical measuring preflash.

Slow focus and preflash. I had taken the shot and moved on before he could focus and preflash . . .

Air guitar. Bright viewfinder and no preflash allowed me to capture motion stoppage at the right time.
Yep, the LX with a compatible flash is a lean, mean, picture taking machine! I have had very few bad flash shots with it, and with the AF400T the reach is incredible. Again, since Pentax' first DSLRs used TTL, why the change to PTTL? My AF400 would love to play with my K 5 in full auto mode. Alas....

Hey pentaxpete. I've seen your stuff on Flickr. Would a Pentax 6x7 MK I be a Pentax 6x7 or Pentax 67? I assume in the Medium Format section you meant Pentax 67II for a MK II or perhaps the MK II is the Pentax 67? So confusing using terminology not used by Pentax.

Does this count?

I just finished developing my first roll of film ever! It is also the first roll of film out of my new medium format camera, a Mamiya RB67 Pro S. The film is hanging up to dry right now.

I am hoping to get an enlarger in a few days, so I can try my had at printing as well. This could become a serious addiction [BD]

For those interested, the film is 120 roll film Delta 100. I developed it in Xtol 1:1 and fixed it using TF-4

My Mk 1 is the original 6x7 Mirror Up version bought from Leeds Camera centre 18th November 1980 with 75mm shift,105mm and 200mm Takumars all for 755-90 all new ( inc 15% VAT)
The 'Mk II' was bought secondhand , I have no bill of sale but around 2001-2 -- it has the TTL prism and came with the 135mmf4 SMC Macro-Takumar , several large filters , for 500-00 and a Billingham bag ( I sold that for 35-00 at our Camera Club auction so got some money back ! )
At the time I was getting a lot of Architectural and PR work and some Travel pics sent to an Agency, then suddenly the companies went BROKE and lost all that work and was left with some lovely 6x7 gear which I use now only for 'Personal and Club Photography' .

Nice shots, I'm really excited with the first photo, it is a nice combo of minimalism + movement.

Here's a couple of Ricoh Diacord Fuji 160NPS (expired) shots from 2009
