My lovely wife. This is probably my favorite picture of her. You could cut yourself on the brim of her hat in this picture. Couldn't believe how sharp this film is.

Saw an inexpensive, but well cared for, K1000 package on the local garage sale website, so I thought I'd give it a whirl. Took the almost 30 year old body and kit lens out this aft and shot my first roll of film in nearly a decade. Quite the anticipation - let me tell you - waiting for it to be developed!

All shots Pentax K1000, kit lens M50 F2, Life brand ISO 200 film. No post processing, just a web friendly resize in PSE.

Thanks for looking,

Rob
Wonderful. I will tell you that the anticipation is indeed one of the things I enjoy most. Right now I am waiting on my first roll of Fuji Superia 1600. Nice captures.

It's a winner Rob. How much did you pay for it just out of curiosity?
Thanks!

The camera, bag, lenses, flash, etc. (see my post in the data base thread) added up to a grand total of $150. I didn't even bother to dicker.

According to the exif it is probably a commercial scan:

NORITSU KOKI
QSS-32_33

This is the same machine used by Costco in my neighborhood.

Geez Javier, that stuff might just make me get the PZ-1p out for the low light church shots. Looks better than my K20D at 1600.
