Nice, my parents used to have a beetle.
Still remember my father driving it up a very steep mountain pass in first gear on the Austrian - Yugoslav border while other cars were being towed up by tractors.

Nice ones!

The last from my first roll with the Yashica 14e, 45mm f/1.4, Hema 200 ISO film.
Must say I'm impressed with the lens. I need to clean the finder and rangefinder glass though, it's very hard to see the rf spot.

Tomorrow I'm gonna try to scan some of the first roll with the Voigtlander Vitessa.

And some spectacular flare... I think it's the uv filter more than the lens to blame here. And this was with the hood.
Still like the picture though.

It's been a while. Here's a few of a local bridge at sunrise. I used the MX with the M28/2.8, loaded with Kodak Gold 100.

First attempt...

I like this crop better.

And then this one a minute or two later.

cheers,
Fred

Good ones. I have this Yashica myself, and the lens is remarkable. The rangefinder spot, like yours has faded, and a little black marker spot on the view finder helps bring it up.

I am still amazed at how well my M lenses handled directly into the sun. See here:

Thanks Phil. I'm looking forward to the day when I have more than two shots per roll worth sharing with others.

Here's one from another roll of Kodak Gold 100, with the MX and M50/1.4...

Last one is best imo. Nice picture!

Yeah, I was looking for some black tape to bring out the rangefinder spot, I guess a black marker spot would do the trick too.

And you are right about the M lenses, here's a Pentax M 28/2.8 on sony nex3 shot straight into the sun: DSC06200r | Flickr - Photo Sharing!

It's the shadow that makes this picture for me.

First shots from the Voigtlander Vitessa I showed in the Camera Pr0n thread, Ultron 50mm f/2, Hema 200 ISO color film

The goat shadow on the red barn is a cool photo all in itself.

Thanks Agnostic, on both counts. On the goat pic, it was the shadow that brought me to take the shot, and again the shadow caused me to select it to post here.

Steve, I thought that was an interesting idea, so I tried a few crops. Not sure I had your vision - see below. I'd like to get another shot with the goat closer to the barn and the sun lower in the sky. I'm hoping that will bring the shadow higher on the barn. Thanks for the inspiration!

I rarely get more than 1 or 2 shots per roll worth sharing
