I like this a lot, simple, serene almost, with so much going on. Lovely quality to the image, the light is wonderful. Lots to like about this.

Here are a few shots I got while my nephew and I were out hiking a couple weeks ago. The winds were really blowing, to say the least (70+ mph) I got knocked off my feet during a couple of gusts and my tripod didn't work too well. The winds blew the heavy duty tripod right over (luckily I caught my camera before it hit the ground).

Despite all that, It was a fun day on the mountain. I'll take rain, snow or high winds any day in the high country compared to the best of days in the flat lands

These were shot with my Mamiya RB67 medium format film camera. Taken on Foma 100 and developed in Rodinal at 50:1

thanks for viewing and comments -- I go every other year usually with Filipina Wife and kids -- these are from a few years back -- I went in August 2013 and can show some from my latest trip if you like -- prints were taken on my 'Gift' PENTAX MZ-5 1996 and some slides on my Asahi Pentax KX 1975 with various lenses.

Just got my first roll of film since the 90's back... This was the best I could get so far from a flatbed scan and edit. I learned a lot from this first roll. First and foremost, I need to slow down and really be careful with the focusing. That split screen focusing is often hard for me to get right for some reason. A lot of my 36 shots, including the one that would have been the best of the lot were sadly out of focus. Secondly is to be much more careful with the light. Blew a bunch of shots with bad lighting choices (compared to digital)... With this shot she was in the shade and all that background wasn't and I really shouldn't have taken this shot, but I gambled that I could get away with it...

So many nice pictures again. I really think the photo threads on the film SLR forum here are awesome

Yashica Electro 35 GX, Yashinon 40mm 1.7, Hema 200 Iso color film.
Great camera, nice bright viewfinder/rangefinder, great lens... there is just one problem I have with this camera and the Yashica Electro series in general. I just can't get used to cameras that refuse to tell me what speed I'm shooting at...
