Very happy with sharpness of the lens and the colors it produces on the Fuji film.

Nice work with that old camera, and kudus for shooting without a light meter. Gee, and no auto focus either. Those four element Tessar designs found on many other good cameras, such as the Color Skopar and Xenar versions are a delight.

I thought the Christmas Lights in our shopping Mall here in Brentwood ( England) looked like 'PLANETS' ----
Spotmatic F + 50mm f1.4 SMC Takumar 2001 outdated Fujicolor Press 800 rated at 200 ASA, I used a 'Starfractor' filter too

Thank you! and thanks for fueling my camera buying addiction with the recommendations on this and the travel camera thread.

While I am at it, here is another recent shot. Fuji Superia 800 pushed to 1600 and processed at home. I was a bit surprised that Superia 800 is quite grainy when pushed, but still I was happy with the results on this roll which were mostly snapshots from Christmas morning. I think this particular photo was shot at F5.6, 1/60. It was overcast and raining so that contributed to the desaturated look in the image, which I thinks adds to the scene.

Thanks. Another nice one. In what city was it taken?
That's Verona, Italy. It's a mid sized town in the North-East almost on the mountains. Mr.Shakespeare liked the town for some unknown reasons, he has never been there or anywhere outside England AFAIK.

Let's see what I also have...this is a landscape taken my trusty Leica M3, Summicron 50 mm DR and Portra160, sunny 16 rule:

Close up of the "isle of the dead", a hill covered with cypresses where the Romans built the theatre and the Austrians a castle:

Seagulls:

Nightshot of one the main street with a couple:

The ancient "house of the commons" of the Medieval era:

Long field of the main middle-age gate with a Zenit Automat and a shitty film:

Do you want more?

Beautiful country. I've been through Verona but had no time to explore the city.

I've been testing some Velvia 100, and a new scanning facility. They sent me some incorrect files; I asked for higher resolution files than I received, so I will have to get in touch with them again. I did try processing one of the files, though.

This was taken with my Tamron 28-75 on my ZX-5N. I'm pretty sure I used a slow shutter speed (I believe it was around 1/30 second), which means I probably lost some sharpness due to camera shake. I do like the look of the film, though.

Great color, and composition. Very nice photograph. Lots of things to look at here, composed but not static at all.

Early morning trek to a lake for sunrise shots just to hit a road closure sign in 0 degree weather. Good times. Picture of myself with Pentax LX | Pentax M 50 1.7 | Ektar 100 | Colorado

Another pic of an Austrian fortress, Peschiera, on the water:

Taken with a K2DMD, K 50 mm 1.4 at f8, Portra160, I think about 1/250

This one has been taken with the same camera and film but with the M 35mm 2.8, I've read that it's not a good lens but it seems decent to me, unfortunately I couldn't get close to enhance the distortion because there was the channel.

I've heard this, but my testing on a K5 shows it is pretty damn good from f/4 onwards - see https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/130-lens-sample-photo-archive/226252-smc-...m-f-2-8-a.html I'll check again once I've saved up for a Sony A7!

This was a really tight squeeze, and if I put it in Landscape format there was clutter on the edges... anyway, I liked this except for cutting off the edges of the flanking cars, but the colour and detail are great, I love Ektar 100.
