I'm nearly back to scanning......

From a while back now (Fuji GA645):

Tongariro crossing (without the hobbits, etc.) Velvia

Somewhere a lot closer to me nowadays (Portra BW 400):

From near where I grew up: Pentax MZ-5n and ether FA 28-200 or M 50 F1.4 Agfa, I think.

Does anyone have any advice for getting rid of the colour cast of colour negative photos "scanned" with a DSLR? I was trying for a couple of hours this morning with a Portra 160 shot and didn't get any useable results. I'll have to stick with my film scanner for now.

This is my first ever double exposure.
This was made with the invaluable assistance of my friend John.

That worked out well. What settings did you use?

Thanks.
It metered at 1/60 and f/2.8, so I did each exposure at 1/125 and f/2.8
It was shot using a tripod, and we were very careful to not move the camera while cocking the shutter for the second exposure.

Definitely on the road (away from) Mt. Doom... No orcs! (which is good, since it took 10 hours or so to do the crossing).

You've inspired me - my lads have got a thing about "ghosts" at the moment. Might give this a go....
Edit: Hilarious results with K-5IIs - going to play more.
