Really cool photo of the climber, it will make a great print.
The 30*45 cm came out very very well ! Not a single grain visible at 30cm (not too bad for a Fuji Superia 200 expired for 10 years and processed @ 160 iso in the lab ) It gave me the wish to do more prints of this size

Here is another one from the serie, the same Fuji Superia 200, MZ-5n, DA*55/1.4 @f4, 1/125.

Since I'm sooo slow at taking new photos, I decided to revisit some earlier results. I shot this image in May with the MX and M150/3.5 lens on Ektar 100.

I had been considering selling the MX. After revisiting that last roll, I'm even more undecided.

cheers,
Fred
What's wrong with the MX? I haven't used mine for a while, I need to give it a run.

With a winder attached, the MX is nearly perfect for me. It fits my hand nicely, and the viewfinder is large and bright. My copy has been to Eric, so it's in top shape. But I've grow to love (depend on?) the matched needle metering of the KX and K2, and I prefer that over the LED metering display of the MX.

I have seven Pentax k-mount film bodies - all restored by Eric, and all but two never leave the cabinet. After a brief, six-roll indoctrination with the MX, it sits on the shelf with the others, and the black KX and the K2 get all the action. So, after several years of LBA, GAS, and other maladies, I've recently started to consider downsizing, and maybe upgrading some lenses. But I know as soon as I selling the MX or any of the other gear, I'll want another copy.

And so it goes.

Thanks Fred. I really like shooting Provia 400x, unfortunately it has been discontinued by Fuji.
A local store still has lots in 120, so I do still have a supply. Every couple months I buy some more and stock pile it in my freezer.

Phil.
