Do your scans have a color profile assigned to them? I usually don't see much difference from my original and the flickr version, unless the image is unprofiled.
Both photos look pretty good to me.
Yup, they do. But I also see a difference in my digital photos after uploading. Flickr seems to add some contrast and sharpening. Either that, or I'm slowly losing my mind, of course

They are not very interested in my feedback for what I've seen...once upon a time I used a new lab to get an enlargement of a B&W shot and the guy couldn't believe it was a 35 mm, he insisted that you can't get that definition without going digital. :P

Kodak Gold 200 in MZ-5N. First one with the FA 50/1.7 wide open, the others with the Sigma 28-70 f/2.8 EX DF.

I don't shoot much film, maybe one or two rolls a year just to get the gear out. I brought my old Spotmatic along during some photoshoots, these are from a session with Johanna. Film is Fujicolor PRO 400H and Super-Multi-Coated TAKUMAR lens.. 135/2.5 if I remeber correctly.

Going through some older negatives... one from my trip to Poland back in '12. Pentax Z1p + Tokina 17mm f5.6 + Kodak Gold 200
On my way to Krakow I was driving through some amazing woods - and these trees and colours just made me stop ...

I can see why... I read an article not to long ago from a photographer who shot trees almost exclusively and I remember it saying "I only shoot trees that are in rows or a single tree...trees in bunches don't speak to me" I laughed so hard that I snorted out loud...a stand of cypress practically screams at me, and apparently that group (of whatever they are) did to you as well. Great shot.

Thanks Lauke !! Glad you like the effect - it is actually much less striking than it was in person!

Thanks IHS. I probably could live with trees as my only subject indeed ! They are sometime funny, or majestic or colourful .. . These woods simple amazed my with the colours of fallen leaves and overall mood - my photos are just mere approximations of these wonders...

Here is another one from the same roll ...

^^^Very nice...makes me glad fall is here. I plan to head up the Natchez Trace when they start to turn as they always put on a show there. I need to break in this new to me pz-1 and that's just the place to do it. I guess I'll need to check w/the local camera shop on scanning film. I've never done it before. Will they just put it on a cd or something?

I agree - the fall is my favoured time of year About the scanning - usually they'd burn your photos on CD. I remember that they also offered two level of service, one was JPG, in smaller res, and other was TIFF in 3000x2000px - which translated to something like 6MP I think ( but that was back in 2009 )- since I got my own scanner I never looked back.
And PZ1p ( US naming for Z1p ) is a fantastic camera. I absolutely love it with grip, but even without it is very comfortable to hold and packed with features.

Here I got one more form the same roll - this time on overcast day. This is an old cemetery of Jewish community that was living in that area ( Poland, Silesia ) , before ethnic cleansing done by Nazis. Composition suffered because it was shoot from behind the fence
