I was trying to capture the weird gnats we have in late summer/ fall, the air gets very thick with them. It can be pretty annoying. I failed, but what can you do.

My nearly 6 yr old daughter took this photo of me, using her Pentax P30t w/ A 50/2 and some really crappy expired Kodak MAX 400.

Cool your daughter shoots a little film too. Yes it's the 75mm, the only lens I've acquired so far for that system. I want to get a something wider, but I just bought a Russian rangefinder so if I continue to want to eat I better not buy anything for awhile.

Swift1, neat shot from your daughter!
EJMzagsfan, I like that last shot! And which rangefinder did you get? I've got a Zorki 4 that I like in a weird way, but it needs a bit of TLC at this point...
I've been playing with the v700... Here's a shot I took on redscale film. I like it in a "I'm-not-sure-about-it" kinda way.

And now some XPro stuff

Ya, she's been shooting film since she was 3
The Nikkor 75/2.8 is an awesome lens.

Thanks. I got a Kiev 4a, it will be my first dive into rangefinders. I'm pretty excited for it to get here.......if it ever does. Waiting for camera equipment to arrive is the worst, especially when you can't track the stuff.

Ah. A neat little camera... I've got one of those on my wishlist. And shipping always seems stressful, even when you've got tracking... Especially when the tracking is marked "delivered" and the post/mail box is empty... (I've had THAT happen before...) But, if my experience with the Russian, Ukrainian, and Bulgarian postal systems (the only places I've seen Russian/USSR gear sold from) are any indication, it should arrive alright.

Unfortunately Fuji stoped producing Provia 400x last year when they nuked a couple films. (You can still get a 100F version of Provia E6.) I have lots of Provia 400x left in my freezer in 135 & 120 formats, so I'm ok for a couple years.

Here are a couple more Provia 400x shots I took last weekend with my 67ii & 75/2.8 and a new 81B filter.

Phil.
Phil - does the 75/2.8 live up to its reputation? Worth the c.$800?!

She's got a fine teacher and exemplar! You must be very proud of Etta.

Nice sunflares, I normally see them as problems but they work great n this shot!

Yep especially for closer work, very versatile lens with great optics.

I know it is simplistic, but this is one of my all time favourite photos.

The shot was taken Dec 1972, film Kodachrome, with my (at the time 6 month old) SP500 and 55mm F2 lens. For my Canadian friends, the shot was taken at the lift-bridge at the south end of Cherry Street in Toronto.

The scan is quite old, and I think it was my Nikon LS-1000 film scanner. (However it may have then my Minolta Dual scan lll.) It is full frame un-cropped, and no post production alterations. This is the real thing.
