Psss...psss....

The old one:

Horizont Horizon Krasnogorsk USSR Soviet Russian 35mm Panoramic Film Camera | eBay

202:

New Panoramic Horizon 202 Camera Pro Zenit Free SHIP in USA | eBay

Last model is 1 sec exposure:

New Panoramic Horizon 203 S3 Pro Camera Zenit in USA | eBay

Damn they are expensive but on the other side they are very special camera and I've been told by my tech (who hates Soviet stuff) that they are indeed pretty good.

Horizonts are fun!

Best wishes, Kris.
Yeah, it's old street, I was heading to my favourite Leica pusher in the area and I never noticed these building before, I also like the screens with the news, I just had the standard lens so I tried to frame as much as I could from my perspetive, but your use of the fisheye was spot on in this case.

BTW in that area I also found these two nice graffiti:

Unfortunately some definition has been lost because it was a very wet day.

I picked up my old Horizont at a camera fair for £100. It has two filters but the handle which screws into the tripod socket is bust. Took a while to get the light leaks sorted, but it is working well now.

Old Horizons look cooler than the new plastic ones because they're all chromed and they have the same nylon covering used on early Zenits and Zorki rangefinders, but perhaps if you really need to use them seriously it's better buying them brand new since they are still in production.

It was an impulse buy at a camera fair... it fits in nicely with my FED2, Lubitel 2 and Zorkii 4...

Does it matter if we use paper instead of film to snap a photo??

Nice shots, and despite usually preferring Fuji, a great, great film - almost Velvia-like in some respects.

Nice set! Looks great to me. I think I veer towards underexposure myself sometimes.

Yes, I use a camera that uses sheet film in holders, instead of on rolls.
Then, instead of using film in the holder, I load b/w enlarging paper cut to fit the holder.

Then I expose that paper @ about ISO 6, then I develop it in standard print developer.
At that point I have a negative on photo paper.
I scan that paper, then invert the colors, which makes a positive image.

This works especially well for me in 4x5 as my scanner will not scan a 4x5 negative, but it will scan a 4x5 sheet of paper.

This was actually shot on film, not paper. But these are the two cameras that I can use to shoot paper negatives.

I don't remember if I have already posted it but this a shot of the Austrian fortress in Peschiera, taken last year with my K2DMD and a K 50 mm 1.4, Portra 400:

Here same camera, but I was toying with a M 28mm f2.8, I like how short lenses can distort architecture but some people think they are "ugly" shots:

If I had to redo these pics today probably I would use a warming filter, it was a cold morning and heavily overcast so they don't look like very special shots, at least for me today.

I like the look of that ektachrome. That's a very well composed shot of the ruins silhouetted against sea and sky. Likey...
