That block shot is spectacular!

One thing I have learned in this thread and in this forum is how I am just skimming the surface of film photography...

Here's a test shot from a Spotmatic and 50/1.4 that I bought cheap, had CLA'd and gave away. I think the film was Delta 100.

Wow...I think that is what they mean by "that film look". I don't think you could have done that picture with straight digital.

Some from New Zealand.

Back in my first few weeks of shooting an SLR (fall/winter 2006). Fuji superia 400, Pentax MX and a cheap soligor zoom (hey, it was part of the free camera kit given to me). These are minilab scans.

Two more that I previously posted several months ago. Both were taken on Kodak Gold 200. The first, I think, was taken with the Pentax-M 50/1.7 and the second with the Sigma 50/2.8 macro. Both were taken in the same light a few minutes apart. You can sure tell the signature Sigma warm cast on the second pic.

First two were taken in 1976, using Kodachrome 64 with a KX. Last two were taken 31 years later with the same KX, this time using Elite Chrome EC 100.
