Excellent shot, very well done to her. At six I don't think I'd even picked up a camera.

When are you going to let her loose with your medium format gear?

I have an old Toyocaflex TLR that I might see if she wants to shoot a roll with.
She's also shot with my Holga a bit.

Here's a photo she did with the Holga.

Halloween with Nikon F2AS:

Difficult shots with Portra160 after twilight, I think I shot at 1/30 and f2.8 o f4.0, "natural" light, not flash, if I had known I would have used Portra400, but casually I finished in this sort of Luna Park, I hope they aren't too bad.

First shots with my new Ikonta 520-A folder, shoots 120 roll film and 4.5x6 cm frames.

The shutter was wonky, but I didn't notice it until I had loaded the roll of B&W, after I ran this first roll, I did a CLA on the shutter, and it snaps and whirs real pretty now. I have color, Ektar 100 in it now.
I may grab some Portra 400 for this camera.

After week of rain and bad weather today was sunny like it's spring so I woke up at 7:50am and went to Park Maksimir.
Hope you'll enjoy!

Congratulations, and such a beautiful set to start with. Lovely lighting, and #3 is a very strong composition, with color, texture, and form in harmony.

Good ones, what lens? Triplet or Tessar?

Okay, well it's been entirely too long since I've posted any film shots here. They were shots taken with Pentax gear. The following aren't.

I've digitized thousands of my slides, most of which date back to the 80s and 90s, which was when I was at my most prolific. So the following images are pretty old. But first, I thought I'd lead off with what I suspect was an unintentional selfie my daughter took back about 15 or 16 years ago with a P&S Olympus I gave her. There's just something about the composition I've always liked. My wife, in the background with a rather quizzical look on her face.

A scene showing a likely lull at an air show, back probably in 1985 or 1986. The lens was a Sigma 600mm f/8 mirror, and the camera was probably a Canon F-1 or FTb. Film was Kodachrome 64.

A shot of the Blue Angels -- Fujichrome 100, I think. Probably late 80s, early 90s. I'm pretty sure the lens was a Tamron 300mm f/2.8 LDIF, which means the camera was probably a Nikon F3 or F2A.

An A-Sport Racer, aka a Lola 33B, if memory serves, negotiating a turn at the much-missed Riverside International Raceway. Probably 1986 or 1987. Fujichrome 100. Canon F-1, FD 200mm f/2.8.

My first "macro" photo. An Alaskan poppy. Taken with the macro setting on my first ever zoom, a surprisingly good Korean-made Albinar 80-200mm f/3.9. Film was probably Kodak 100 whatever. Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good.|

Sorry, no Pentax shots this time. Most of my Pentax images are on another computer. We just bought a new house and are still unpacking. That machine is waiting to be put back on line.
