Those are beautiful scans and pictures. Are the lenses the Tessar type?

Yes, the Rolleiflex has the Zeiss Tessar and the Yashica has the Yashinon version of it. They're pretty flare prone in my experience, but take great pictures when there isn't direct light pointed at the camera.

I am using an Epson Perfection V550. I don't currently have a photo editing program on my computer so all of those were not retouched, which speaks for the scanner and the software it comes with.

Yes, great results! Especially WRT color, which is tough IMO.

This was just a test, shot thru a double pane dirty window. Expired Vericolor III shot at ISO 25 fresh unicolor, (my last 4 shots ruined by old chems.) Speed Graphic 4x5 scanned on Epson V500, (can only scan 2 3/4" tall)

That is a lovely natural pose and exposure. The reflections don't contribute however, but then again that is just me liking things simple.

A few more from my slide files:

Los Angeles Wilshire District Skyline, circa 1986 or so, Kodachrome 64:

Sunset, Santa Barbara, CA. Kodachrome, circa 1984.

Rug Merchant, Venice Beach, CA, circa 1985, Kodachrome 64:

Fishing Boats, Morro Bay, California Kodachrome 64, circa 1985:

Kinkakuji (The Golden Pavilion), Kyota, Japan. Fujichrome 400, 1983:

My apologies if I've posted duplicates of previous images. These are new dupes -- done with a different camera at a much higher resolution. Nonetheless, I'm trying not to repeat myself. But it's hard for me to recall what I've posted here and what I haven't. I suppose I can go into my settings and look up all my previous posts . . .

Agreed on being flare prone. I picked up a hood on KEH (was supposed to be on off brand one but they sent a real Rolleiflex hood) and it made a big difference.

Last week, while in a fit of CBA, I ordered a NOS Russian Horizon 202. The camera arrived yesterday, and after doing some preliminary testing I loaded a short roll of expired Superia 200. Today I managed to shoot through the roll, get it developed, and scan it.
I happy to say that the camera worked great.
Here's one of today's shots.

Hey Colton,

A cool new addition to your collection! I guess I'd have to see a regular shot of the front of that Safeway to see how much distortion is caused by the Horizon. For example, the structure does have the arch, right? I mean, that's not caused by the camera, is it?

I was always under the impression the Horizon was kinda like the old Widelux, in that it was a medium format camera. But if you're shooting Fuji Superia, I guess it's 35mm, right? Unless Fuji is marketing Superia as medium format now? So, assuming it's 35mm, how many exposures do you get to a roll of 36 exposures?
