That's a great idea. Since you have a few LX's, you need to try this out and report back the results!

Yeah, I've been thinking about this ever since grhazelton proposed the idea. I'm thinking that, after determining the body cap's exact center, the best thing to do would be to drill a hole for a small brass cylinder, the same length as the thickness of the body cap, and then to drill a tiny hole in the piece of brass, then glue it in place into the body cap. You could just drill a tiny hole in the body cap, but it probably won't be as smooth of a hole as one drilled in brass would be.

Yeah brass is a lot easier to work with then plastic. I've worked with both. Most plastics leave horrible burrs when drilled through or cut at any fast speed. Where as brass is a totally different story. It is very nice to work with and will give a nice clean drill hole.
I worked deburring plastic parts for a while. I was just nasty razor sharp burrs all over. I hope I never have to work with plastic again. I'll take metal machining any day.

Poland: Auschwitz Birkenau camp

Here are a few from the Birkenau camp -- we were taken in a mini-bus and there was a huge car park off a modern road that was not there in the 1940's -- our Guide explained it was a 'Sacred Place' it was certainly very creepy standing on the same earth platform by the railway track from where thousands arrived -- there were some 'modern' children playing on the railway tracks while their parents listened to their guide -- the innocence of Youth ----

All PENTAX MZ-5 and 05/2008 outdated Kodak Colorplus 200 I rated at 125 ASA and scanned prints.

Shot a roll of expired Fuji Superia 400 (Shot at 200) in my Mamiya DTL 2000. Was only able to get a couple of good shots out of the roll.

Any suggestions for the size of the hole? I'd think the smaller the better....

I see many Pentax pinhole caps on the auction site and they are all tiny . . . but laser drilled of course!

My pinhole is around 0.18mm IIRC.
You can buy pinhole body caps pretty easily.
