Your Lomo 800 definitely has a different tone than any of the shots I've taken with it. Do you still have the box it came in, and if so where does it say the film was manufactured?

The box I have says "Made in the USA" on the bottom. I've never really checked them before for country of manufacture but I think I'll start. I do see variability in them sometimes.

So it would appear that their Color Negative 800 is different depending on if you get the 135 or 120 format. Since, as mentioned in another thread, most sources say it's Kodak — which yours appears to be — while mine definitely isn't.

Pentax 6x7. S-M-C Takumar/6x7 200/4. Lomo 800.

(The faint pinkish tinge to highlights is something I've seen in both rolls of "Made in China" Lomo 800 that I've used. As, unfortunately, has been the dirt all over the negative. )

Yeah, for sure the 120 and 135 of the same speed are different emulsions. I tried the 800 in 120 once and didn't like it (I do really like the 400 in 120, though).

Unfortunately, tones and colours hugely depend on scanning. I think your film was exatcly the same.
Here are 3 scans that I got from different places (Noritsu 3201, Noritsu 2931, somewhat Frontier): https://cloud.mail.ru/public/9kmf/zti3BBtsJ

Personally, I liked the scans from Noritsu 3201 very much.

What you didn't have to melt a computer stitching all that together?

I like landscapes and vistas like this a lot.

Hi everyone
Been enjoying all the great postings here, decided to post after a long time.

These are all Kodak trix-400 developed in D76 (stock; 6.75 mins @ 20C). I have been using Rodinal for some time (1:100 dilutions; 90 min semi-stand dev) primarily but decided to come back to D76.

Ah yes all those folks lying in the sun covered with Coppertone "suntan lotion".

SPF 1 if you were lucky!
