Woo! Hoo! The Return Of The OP!

Are these recent film shots or scans from the archives?

Thanks folks,
Those are all recent shots. It took a while to shoot them and then a longer while to get them developed. Those quick 1 hour places are no longer around.

Here are some holiday snaps from a trip to Japan in May. I’ll just post the links, so as to not hog this thread.

All shots are with a K2 or K2DMD, Fuji Sensia 100 or Provia 100F and Fa20-35/4, Fa43/1.9 or Fa77/1.8.

1) Tokyo Sky Tree:

2) Shibuya Crossing Tokyo:

3) Sake barrels at Tokyo Shinto Shrine:

4) Mt. Fuji & Pagoda:

5) Ninja & floating tori at Miyajima:

6) School girls in Nara:

7) Cat shop window in Nara:

8) Golden Pavilion Kyoto:

9) Buddha & Cheese dogs storefront in Hakodate:

10) Bullet train at Shin-Aomori station:

Zone VI 4x5, Fujinon W 125mm F5.6, TMAX 400 developed in Pyrocat MC for 14 minutes (should be ~12 minutes as the negative was too thick)

I was given a Contax RTS II Quartz and a Yashica FR1 with various lenses and winders -- here is one from the Yashica FR1 with a 28mm f3.5 ML Yashinon lens , outdated Agfa Vista 200 which I rated at 125 ASA and had commercially processed and uploaded from a scan on CD -- I used a Sunpak auto 36 FD flash bounced off a white plate @ f4. It is 'Lechon' as Filipinos call it or 'Hog Roast' -- I went to a Filipino party for 1st Communion and the British Husband bought the PIg and dug a hole in his garden and roasted it- and we had Spring Rolls and Noodles etc !

Hog the thread! We don't mind. Just don't post them all in the same message or at obscenely large dimensions.

More of that Ultramax 400

---------- Post added 06-16-15 at 08:50 AM ----------

Other than add my little moniker in light room. these are as shot. My biggest frustration was the processing and time. I honestly think the best processing I ever did get was when Target was doing it. These were done by samy's camera and I believe that they got fancy with the machine. I see too many artifacts.
