Shot a few roll of Kodak gold 200. with the price of film going the way it is I'll be shooting a lot more gold/ultra max film. Which is not bad at all As I really like what I get with those films.

Exakta VX test shot. Everything works great with the camera.

Olympus Stylus shot. Didn't like this camera all that much so I gave it to a buddy at work. I like my yashica T3 better

Canon Rebel 2000 Shot. not to fond of this camera but not bad for a backup to my exaktas cameras.

Normally I don't get very good results from 400 film
I've been shooting a lot of 400ISO film as well since I got my P6x7, mostly so I could get faster shutters speeds to hand hold the big beast.

But I also have been shooting Fuji Provia 400x with my 35mm SLRs as well. Gives me more DOF on landscape shots and faster shutter speeds in low light.

Bit of a accident... My LX is occasionally throwing shutter speeds all over the map when I have it automatic, which is why it's about to be box for a trip to Eric.
In this instance though, I liked the result more than if it'd been exposed how I intended.

I agree, I kinda like the deep contrast in your photo too. Actually, I suspect that's correct exposure, at least as far as your LX knew. You've got the sun peeking through some of your flowers, which would have caused the LX to stop down to compensate for the bright light source.

Yeah it works, a nod to the LX as well!

With that bright direct sun in the frame, it makes sense that the camera would underexpose a fair bit.
That's basically the same scenario as this shot which my Contax G2 underexposed a lot.

This is what a Canon A-1 does with too much bright stuff in the frame. Kodachrome 64, lens was a Sigma 600mm f/8 mirror. The camera was set on P, blinking data in the viewfinder -- meaning out of exposure range. A happy accident.

Absolutely possible, but it's definitely been wild (a few times it's given me several seconds open shutter with a speeds shown between 1/125 or 1/60, bizzaro)... but yeah, in any case, it chose correctly for this one.

True enough. That shot, BTW Colton... I've seen it a number of time now, coming across it on Flickr - I love it. And the strange thing is each time I see just the thumbnail or a smaller version I keep thinking it's a shot of mine. This one (every time it's fooled me for a moment.)
(This NOT film, incidentally FYI.... shot taken with Ricoh GR)

There are similarities between your photo and mine.
Mine was a "better lucky than good" shot

Good stuff.
I picked up a couple of rolls from Poundland and will probably get another fiver's worth in the week.
