It's really quite a lot of fun, and it's a great camera.

Very nice shot of a perfect subject for this.
Thank you, David.

Interesting to know if the two streets are 90 degrees apart. In the picture the angle looks a lot less. That camera certainly squeezes a lot in and makes a good picture.
The streets are at 90 degrees. Not only does the camera fit a lot in, but the lens is always pointing straight at everything in the frame.

Lovely portraits. Also, you have a brilliant copy of that lens.

Thank you. Yes it seems like I got a great copy from a member here on the Marketplace. It's great with film and while it focuses extremely fast, it's the first lens that's disappointed me on digital. Most of my lenses are FA and older and I use them for both film and digital, this one didn't cut it on my SLR. It's not bad, but not as good as some of the others I'm used to.

Here's a couple more:

Pentax *ist, FA 28-70/4, Fuji 160S

And looking the other way:

Same roll of film, different lens:
FA* 80-200/2.8

I think that's the biggest Japanese model made. There are some German models that go up to a 22" blade.
