Seems Ektar100 has some dynamic range after all. Many told it is a C41 tranny film. Great pic.[COLOR="Silver"]
Thank you.
In my experience, it's hard to beat Ektar.

It definitely has range - extremely contrasty by default but there are always (in my experience) shadow details to pull back out.

Lomo always pops up with "strange" effects... that's why I buy and use their stuff. They keep film alive.
I enjoy it as well but this is the same reason I don't buy/shoot it as often as I might. Can be totally unpredictable.

The Zenobia 645 seems to like Ektar 100. I have Portra 400 in it now, but these just came out of the scanner.

Very cool - looks like a fun shooter. Definitely recent too - can just make out the firefighting efforts in the headlines of the newspapers in the shot with the girl.

Ohhh, nice, I had not noticed that. I was wondering if anyone has experimented with the difference in sharpness, when focused on the distance, as opposed to range focus. I guesstimated the focus distance at about 15 feet on that shot and used range focus on most of the rest. (meaning I set the focus to hyperfocal, and shot.)

I'm quite impressed with Kodak Ektar's ability to produce good results and be forgiving at the same time. This was rated at and pushed +1 stop.

a 67 Velvia shot with the 45mm. With the waist-level finder, this combo is bordering on easily portable.

Yes Ektar is forgiving, this one:

has been taken with my Leica M4-P, the new Nokton 1.5 and I didn't meter it, but I just used the Sunny 16 rule. ALL the shots of this roll came out.
