A hip shot. Good to see the SV and auto 35mm in action.

Always like the photos with you in reflection. Great colors in this, and you find the compositions!

I love those too - it's a 'where's Colton' sort of hipcat series.

A little Velviating, Provianating motorcycle comparison I did for myself. The first Provia 100f from the Pentacon Six TL with Biometar 80mm 2.8. The second is Velvia 100 on the P-67 with 75mm 4.0.

Welcome aboard and I always love seeing another side of the world through Pentax eyes especially taken with Kodak Ektar.

Great comparison but I wonder if the color difference is due to the lens? In any case I enjoy using either film.

Oh I'm sure it's a bit of both, but they turned out mostly how I'd have expected. Not a critical comparison certainly, and I didn't try to match anything in the slight touching I did in Lightroom... just treated each a bit to my liking independently. Completely subjective.

and honestly, there's nothing I enjoy more than seeing a Provia or Velvia MF slide for the first time... no piece of developed film looks quite so lovely to me.

Pentax 67 from 1978

Here's a studio shot we did back in 1978 using a Pentax 67 + 80mm lens:

Definitely liking the Provia more out of these two, though both of them are excellent.

Thanks man. I only *slightly* prefer the Velvia, personally... but that's nothing new. I knew that before I even took the shot.

A pair from the Flexaret Va using Lomography Color 100.

Likely rebadged Kodak colour stock. The negative can be a bit dirtier than actual Kodak-branded film, but it's never anywhere as bad as the Color 800. The colors are also more consistent than the Color 800, it's just a pity that I don't really care for them.

I've still got one roll of it left, and may just put it through my image-mangling No. 2 Hawk-eye for a lark.
