Nice! You're clearly having fun with that Widelux - how long do you get to babysit it?

At this point it's indefinite.

That's a very nice arrangement.

Autumn begins around the neighborhood, as seen with the Kiev-4m | Helios-103 on RVP100F. Taken 2 or 3 weeks ago, just as the change begun.

How do you like the handling of the kiev 4m? I have a Jupiter 9 85/f2 preset, acquired from rugift.com ~12-14 years ago. Controls are stiffish. It's built like a tank!

It is a bit awkward with the RF window placed so far to the right side of the body but I'm getting used to it. Controls are not all that stiff really and the focusing (at least with the Helios being the only contax mount i have which came with it) is really quite smooth and fast - faster than the LTM lenses I have for certain. The viewfinder and RF patch is a bit constricted and a tad dim but very accurate and certainly more than usable.

I found it took a bit of getting used to, but that "Contax grip" now not only comes naturally when I pick the camera up but more importantly also feels natural.

I just finished reading the review for the new full frame 15-450mm zoom pentax lens.
I am not interested in spending $2000 on a lens, but I am certainly not interested in buying a lens that I cannot use on my MX or P3 bodies. The lack of an aperture ring on recent lens offerings by all manufacturers really upsets me.
Just saying.

Off the top of my head I'd say f16 on a 35mm Color Skopar

Cheers. I'd prefer it frozen at that speed at this point, but certainly interested if it's at all less costly than I find it online lately.
Called them, but they have no Provia 400X left in any format.

Nice and clear and sharp results there. Kodak Ultramax has surprised me with good results lately as well. Quite different from results I have previously had from expired/underexposed film which has a lumpy green grain in dark areas..
