Not yet. $200 for the repairs is a bit too extreme for my budget at this time.
Ok this pic is dedicated to you:

SPF+ Macro Tak + Fujipro400 + Aurora Optima + Persol 9714.

The Aurora costs more than $200.

BTDT-GTTS. I've got an assortment of expensive fountain pens, but I've never paid that much for any of them:

Mont Black Meisterstuck 146 (a Christmas gift from my wife)
Parker Duofold International Fountain Pen and Roller Ball Set (bought at a pawn shop for $100)
Pelikan M800 Soveran (free!)
Sheaffer Vintage Balance Lifetime in red-veined gray pearl (rare) w/matching pencil, made between 1931 and 1935 (found at a swap meet for $25)

Plus I've got a drawer full of lesser collectibles. (I've been collecting fountain pens for about 25 years)

Although my favorite "user" pen is my 1938 Parker Canadian Vacumatic with a broad stub nib.

And, no, I'm not selling any of them. I'd no more part with one than I'd part with, well, my LX. That's a pretty Aurora you got there, though. I like that color. What's it called? It can't be Lapis because the reflective pieces are too large.

Handheld...unfortunately at very narrow opening (I think I shot at f16) the viewfinder of the Spotmatic gets very dark and it's hard to focus and compose. I think I shot at 1/30s and f16 under direct sunlight, not the most ideal conditions but I wanted to shoot the translucent celluloid of the glasses and the pen...unfortunately I don't have a Omas Extra Lucens, that's a beautiful pen, translucent to allow you to see the ink level.

Alas, I'm a poor man!

I'm mostly interested in celluloid pens because I like the material, the Aurora is a blue Optima with oblique nib, late 90s, bought for 30 euros (!!!) from a shop that didn't know what they were selling...it had a wrong price tag, they forgot a zero.

Are my macro shots so bad?

Here there are others:

Detail of the lens.

My vintage (1982) Porsche Design by Orfina.

Detail of the bridge of my Martin HD28V with special celluloid pickguard and mammoth pins...I should have cleaned it a little better.

OIC. I thought it had something to do with the photo. My bad.

Here we get 'the Aurora' for free:

Funny that.

Could be my favorite of yours. It's a contender at least. Adore it.

Nah. It was meant to be a pen joke that seems to have fallen flat.

That is why you focus, compose and shoot wide open AFTER you get your meter reading.

Yes but if the camera is hand held at short distance it's not easy, as you notice the first pic is slightly tilted. And I didn' need to read the meter (as a SPF it works a full aperture) but I needed to check the DOF.

However few shots with the K2DMD, agfa 100 and various lenses:

K24mm f2.8:

35-210 Zoom:

K50 mm f1.4 bokeh:

And a few from my Minolta Hi-Matic AF. I kinda almost really like this camera. I hope I will like my Oly 35 RC better. The Konica C35 is likely going to be my bang around. Oh well. On FujiColor 200 also.

With the onboard flash:

No Pizza, No Fireworks, but yep all kind of smoking products.

And Coulee walls above Banks Lake.
