now, this me makes me want this 85mm for film ^^
It's a great, cheap lens both for FF (film in my case) and APS-C. Everyone should get one.

Talking about systems I had a walk around Verona with my Praktica Jenaflex and its lenses, I like it very much because it's lightweight and I have everything between 200mm and 2omm..here there are some shots taken with Agfa Precisa.
Those are some great shots.

I know that the quality of the scan leaves a lot to be desired, but this was an expired film and I invested some work in salvaging the shots so I thought it was worth sharing. WB, shadows, highlights, the whole lot was completely off and this is the best I could get in the end. Too bad. It was such a beautiful day for making photos.

Shot at f4, 35mm.

Oh, man...you're killing me! I grew up in the Seattle area and lived for several years in Bremerton and Pt. Angeles. I really miss the ferries and the Hood Canal and the Olympics and all that good stuff.

...on second thought, that second one looks more like it was taken in my neck of the woods (Columbia Gorge)...

Two great spots that look great together.
Yup - the second is at Cape Horn on the WA side of the gorge looking East. We were down in Hood River last week.

The first is a ferry ride over to Bremerton - we always (when time permits, beginning in the past year or two) take the ferry over and then head down through Shelton to Olympia. I just can't deal with the Everett-Tacoma I-5 tunnel anymore. Quite often, depending when we time it, it takes scant little more time to do that - plus you get a ferry ride and a drive through the west side small towns rather than staring at taillights being angry.

And I know what you mean. We're very, very seriously considering a move to Hood River (I was interviewing there last week) but just taking the drive the way we did made both my lady and I think "hmmmm" can we really leave this? Had we taken I-5 though we'd have said "dear lord when can we leave this?".
Port Townsend is on the short-list as well, but we both like our winter sports and it's a chore to get to good snow from Pt Townsend.

These are fantastic! I'm curious how you managed to get so much contrast on Acros?

Hood River has a full pallet of Winter sports options. If I had a job offer there, I would probably go.
