Acros 100 has plenty of contrast. What it does not have is a conventional spectral response curve. It is more blue sensitivity than most panchromatic films. Fuji refers to this as pan-ortho and it results in somewhat higher contrast in skin tones and lower contrast for landscapes. I typically shoot Acros with a yellow or minus-blue filter.
