Originally posted by edmundrt A couple of months ago Fuji Quicksnap single-use cameras were on offer in my local supermarket, so I picked a couple up. I had so much fun shooting my way through the first one with literally nothing to do except look through the massive viewfinder and snap. I got the film back today to scan and obviously it ain't beautiful but it has character and I had a good time with it, and isn't that what matters? I'll definitely be using these little things more from now on, particularly when I move to Japan in September, where there are several different types available.
My niece had three of those single use cameras from about 10 years ago. One Kodak, one Polaroid and one Fuji.
I processed the film after figuring out how to get them apart to get the film out, (Not that hard really).
I considered putting fresh film back in them and letting her shoot them up. Nah.
What I did do, was got a couple of the el cheap 135 non-focus thumbwheel with flash cameras.
Same stuff, cheap lens, simple, fun to use, cheap and easy to process, and they CAN be easily re-used.
If they get broken lost or stolen, so what? we can find replacements for about $5 on the bay site.
