All these Provia images look great! The images look like from a pre-digital era magazine. The colors are very natural, without any cross-type/sepia effect that we usually see today in images from modern film enthusiasts. I suppose that the majority of such images 20 years ago would have been regarded as having poor colors. Today, unfortunately, they are usually regarded as being normal.
Thanks, I have not shot much Provia 100F, but like it so far. I also did the scans myself without much tweaking, so an added bonus as well.

Phil.

Thanks Arnold! It was not too cold, for me at least. I think it was around +3C that day and nice and sunny. The last shot was taken in Half Moon Island in the South Shetlands. A bit farther north, so you get some moss as vegetation to add some colour.

The second roll of film run through my Chaika-II, and probably the last as quality Soviet engineering has been my bane with it.

On the first roll I had light leaks from a door that doesn't like to stay latched. Some rubber bands solved that problem, but new ones arose: attempting to stop down the aperture sometimes unscrewed the front element instead, and I wound up with a number of wildly overexposed shots when I didn't notice. Then, when it came time to get the film out, the rewind clutch failed to work properly and about 1-2 feet of film tore down the middle.

As the price of the two rolls sans processing exceeded what I paid for the camera, I can at least safely say I got my money's worth.

A few of the frames that weren't completely mangled:

MMZ Chaika-II.
Industar-69.
Kodak Ektar 100.

Nice shot! A visit to the Residenz in the early 80s made a lover of baroque art and architecture out of me.
