One person's flat is another's long grey curve I like the pic - increase dev time a smidge next time, perhaps you'll like it better. Tri-X does have its own unique look, those are fantastic!

Easytiger -- those shots are great. I especially like the sharpness and clarity of the first one.

Thanks! The first shot was a one second exposure taken near Admiralty, Hong Kong. I'm really happy with it.

Anyone for a bike ride?

This whole publicly accessable bike rental system in European countries is really neat.

Kodak Ektrar, probably with a Super-Takumar 50 F1.4 @ f2.8 or something

Nowhere near as nice, but I damn near killed myself climbing down to the bottom of this dam (pun intended) on the hottest day of the year and I'm going to show it to somebody

...and from the same set...

A couple of shots from the last PentaxForums Toronto Meet Up. These are both with Augustmoon's M 20mm f/4 on my KX. Apparently the lens does meter reasonably well on a KX even with the lever that transmits aperture data removed from the lens for more convenient metering on digital.

Group photo

My scan, probably too cool.

Lab scan (kind of soft and with a colour cast).

I would have tweaked the contrast a little more, but that's a matter of taste. Besides this I like this shot a lot!

XP2 film in a Konica T3N with a Hexanon AR 85mm f1.8.
Lab scan, so not perfect. Will redo it when I have solved my current driver dissagreement between my latest laptop and my scanner.

A few months ago I borrowed my friend's Nikon N65 for walk around my island. It was my first chance to use film, a mystery Kodak color negative type with a strange name that I can't recall. Anyway, I enjoyed the experience so much that I picked up a MZ-7 in Hong Kong soon after.

@Douglas - yes I see what you mean... I find the T-Max developer I use produces a very long grey scale, and I've been exploring that. It isn't a very contemporary look, and yes, I do miss the contrast in the photo.

As an experiment, from the same roll and setup (nikkor 35/2 + yellow-green filter):

LOL, yeah, that shoe's pretty surreal like that.

Here's an all Kodak shot - Gold 200, and my newest camera, a Retina IIc that dates from somewhere in '56-57, with an excellent Xenon 50mm f/2.8 lens. I'm pretty stoked.
