So what is it you don't like about the film? A couple of photos appear to have a slight green cast, but that could be caused by fluorescent lights and should be correctable in post anyway. Apart from that, I see good sharpness and color saturation.
I also have a roll of Fujipro400 and they are better but I suspect I don't "get" how to use the flash at the best: it was raining so the green cast is a combination of the yellow artificial light, the dull light from outside and the white flash.

Now it's late in Albion, tomorrow I'll open a thread on TTL flash in general.

Flash should not be showing a color-cast on daylight film, assuming it's the predominant light source. I'm thinking it's an exposure/synch issue.

Yesterday I met up with a friend who has a a Contax G1 and G2, as well as the 28/2.8, 35/2, 45/2, and 90/2.8.
He let my shoot a bit with his G1 with the 28/2.8 and the 45/2, and then let me try both those lenses on my G2. I must admit that I'm a bit smitten with the G1, and quite impressed with the Zeiss Biogon 28/2.8. It is kinda amazing how little distortion the 28 has...

All Zeiss lenses (West Germany, East Germany, made in Japan under German design) are top notch, the Jupiter 12/pre-war Biogon is still one of the best 35mm for rangefinder.

Talking about wide angle distortion in the Motorcycle museum I had to use the M35mm f2.8 and even the K24mm f2.8 to take entire pics of bikes where there was not enough room...for instance I couldn't take a complete side shot of the infamous Hurricane, not even with the 24mm :

Here I tried to use the distortion of the 24mm for "artistic" use and enhance the streamlined shape of the fiberglass superstructure of the bike:

35mm on Norton, the carburettor resuts out of scale:

Again the 35 mm with Slippery Sam:

50mm f1.2 detail of the water temperature gauge of the radiator installed on a Wolf:

Comparing these pics from the 70s to today's digital selfies is embarassing...it appears that things have gotten worse.

Even the models look worse.

Agreed. We're awash in a virtual SEA of utterly crappy photos, most of which will never be viewed twice... both because they disappear into the ether, and because, well, they're not worth viewing twice. Sad but true.

The Jupiter-12 is a good lens, but from what I have seen it has rather bad distortion.

I'm trying to find a photo I took where it's visible—because when it is, it really is—but I think I did PP on my scans to eliminate most of it.
