I love coastal cypress. Love them. Just photographed the "cave tree" Cypress at Kalaloch here on the WA coast last week. I've been watching that one soldier on since I was a kid.

Got 6 different rolls back today, and am very slowly going through them. (Some rolls are 6x9 shots, so there aren't too many to tag, evaluate, and adjust from those at least.)

Shot this with the 135 film adapter for the Flexaret V. It's only the second time I've used it and, while I got a few more keepers than the first time, it's still not an entirely pleasant process: focusing is difficult; the focusing screen mask doesn't sit well; the film gate isn't perfectly straight; it's portrait format; there's a good chance of light leaks. The adapter really feels like it's more for novelty or emergencies than anything.

(I also feel like I overexposed many shots, but that's likely my fault. Though last time I shot slide film on this it did feel a bit over-exposed as well, so it's possible the shutter speeds have gone off.)

Flexaret Va.
Belar 80mm f3.5.
Fuji Superia 200.

You are very welcome. One of the fun things with the Ferrania is to play with curves and colors (hue/sat/bright) in PP. My scans have been very amenable to tweaking in post with very little artifact.

I tried out a new film today, as I discovered I had one more roll of Velvia, I had to order another E6 kit and seven rolls of film to use it all up (it will do eight films). The only slide film in stock at Argentix was Rollei Crossbird 200, which is a slide film especially good in cross-processing, but is said to be OK in E6, although somewhat grainy. The film canisters actually say 'colour negative film' and 'process in C-41' presumably to convince a lab that it is OK to throw it in the C-41. Anyway, it is a bit grainy and the colours are strongly pre-disposed to yellow and green, but a little work and I have them pretty normal. I wouldn't recommend it if you have the choice of Velvia, but since I didn't...

I've nearly picked up some of that Crossbird a number of times but never pulled the trigger. I'd say those results are just lovely. What sort of PP correction and how much did you wind up doing? How were they scanned?
