I am relieved to find out the Ukranian coffee grinder (Kiev 88C) works without breakage, light leakage and various hassles....for me composing with the waist finder is however very difficult, some pics came out tilted and one completely out of focus.

Kiev 88C with 4,5x6 back, Biometar 80mm f2.8, FP125, no lightmeter (exposure guess)

Just picked up some pictures from the drug store, but not too impressed with the 1MB scans. The previous owner has left, and junior clerks are in charge. Anyway, these were taken with a Retina 1B on Kodak 400 Ultramax. The beach is 15 minutes away.

Along Spadina near Kensington. The "Cut-Rate Drugs" sign is hidden again, as it was only revealed during the process of remodelling the store into a Krispy Kreme.

Humbled... another tree I have visited since I was a boy, this huge old cedar lost a large, very old portion of itself to a storm two years ago, which leveled the trees and plants it collapsed upon (you can see it trailing off to the left in the right-hand photo) but really it doesn't care; this has happened before and will again. the tree is difficult to age because of the way old cedars grow, reinventing themselves as this one has many times. it's estimated to be at least 1000 years old. it can see 'mountain time' from where it stands. we are humble.

Incidentally... there really is no way to photograph this tree, as this attempt really only scratches the surface. I'm sure it thinks that's funny, if it cares at all. Humbled.

Ah. Thanks! I suppose the pot shop medical marijuana dispensary is also gone?
