... actually I'm not that fond of color photography, but sometimes you have to deliver things in color. For my own use, I convert nearly all my work to black and white. And Yes: I do shoot B&W film. For a lot of years Ilford Delta 100 was my choice - now and then some Ilford Delta 400 would find their way to my cameras ...

I'm about to give Agfa APX 100 a go - it looks very promising to me.

My main stay developer for B&W films has for a number of years been Tetenal Ultrafine ...

The photo below is one of these Ilford Delta 100/Tetenal Ultrafine-images ... Camera is a Nikon F90X with a AF Nikkor 24mm F2.8 ...
Thans for the abundant info!

Colton-- I've been very impressed how you keep the skies in your latest shots (especially in the one of the reflected feed mill on Flickr). Are you using a grad filter, or is it more a matter of shot selection?

Thanks.
I almost never use filters, and almost never meter.
C41 film has huge latitude for highlights. I usually meter "Sunny 11" and then make sure I don't clip highlights in scanning.
This Portra 400VC I shot at 200iso (1/250 and f/11 in sunlight). The film probably lost some contrast because it was expired. The lighting is fairly even in these shots so the foreground isn't in shadow. I think the tree shot might have been 1/125 f/11 because it was a bit overcast.

Thanks for the insights--I've been running from sunny days so long it will take a conscious effort to trust the medium. At any rate, I've finally got a working P 67 kit together (including a late version 200/4) so it's going to be a trip going back to film after an absence of three decades or so.

Cool.
The late model 200/4 is becoming my most used and favorite lens for my 67.

Undoubtedly a fantastic lens, but I sold mine, thought I missed it, bought another copy, then sold it again. For some reason I can never really get on with 100mm (equiv) - same reason I got rid of the FA77 on my K5 (don't shoot enough 35mm to justify keeping it for FF). Saying that the DA55 was one of favourite lenses on a crop-sensor, so one day would really like a 67 FA75/2.8 - although wondering whether to get a cheap 75/4.5 to try first! Sorry for the rambling thoughts; your shots with the 200 are great as always.

Isn't the 105/2.4 a closer FOV to the DA55 on APS-C?
