Kjon, The 99cent film looks good to these tired eyes. The park bench is awesome.

Nice set of images there, I'm surprised at how well the 16-45 seems to be working! I'm guessing the shot with the vignette is at 16mm?

cheers,

Edit: May aswell add a film shot while I am here - Super Program with M50 f1.4 and Ektar 100:

See below for the vignetting at 16mm.
I think you can get to 20-22mm before vignetting starts. The lens is very good on full frame until you hit the vignetting. Sharpness is excellent.

I like the vignetting, and I have enjoyed using it myself. Nice shots.

Hi. I'm really enjoying the quality of the images on this thread, which I think has improved significantly since I first dipped into it last year. This is a recent shot with a Spotmatic F and Super Takumar 105 on XP2. ( I do all my own scanning on an Epson V700.)

Nice to see your shots again. Due to a problem with zooomr.com blocking traffic from my internet provider, I haven't been able to see your stuff for a couple of weeks but it seems to be sorted now

As for the shot..... if you said that you had taken it in 1950, I would have believed you.

A couple of samplings of Fuji 160s, this time with a Retina IIc. CVS gave me an empty CD - there was only software, no photos - so I had to scan them myself. I am not happy with the quality, this time around. The Epson 4490 tends to give 'thick' seeming scans, opaque maybe the word, and sharpness could be better, with 35mm. Either that or having the Retina in my bag for a month has knocked something out of kilter, as I've had much sharper results before. oh well, I'm still toting it...

Here I was asking the Retina to do what it doesn't really like to do - I had it at closest focus, and it was a dark, wet day.

Thank you.

As for Argenti Godochrome 200, it's a slide film that's supposed to be similar to kodachrome (the name "godochrome" is an homage to Leopold Godowsky, co-inventor of kodachrome). It's not... I find it too grainy and not so sharp. There isn't much info about it and according to google, I must be the only person who's ever used it! You can buy it, at least in Europe, here: Argenti | FOTO-R3

I'll translate the info to english:

"Sublime latest generation positive film which pays homage to Leopold Godowsky, co-inventor of the mythic kodachrome. Limited Edition, Made in Germany."

Don't know anything else about it, and only used one roll, sorry... You can check the rest of the photos I did with it here: Flickr: Hertizel's stuff tagged with argentigodochrome200
