The Arista.EDU Ultra 100 is pretty nice stuff, though I am having trouble finding the sweet spot for holding the shadows while avoiding blowout in the highlights. I have generally been able to use FG-7 at about double the box speed and get great latitude. Not so with this film. (Did I hear someone say pyro???).

Wow, an old-school Bessa. Looks plenty sharp and contrasty - not bad for a 70+ year old camera.

I've been trolling eBay for a decent, not too expensive folder - a Bessa or Isolette, since Ikontas are like gold. No luck so far.

Unfortunately I can't quite afford the new Bessa III...

Not sure about the origin of the front plate that's visible in the photo. In the right side is a number plate from the Camel Trophy race which went through Central America - this car must have run it. In the back it's got a regular Pennsylvania plate.

There's a guy in my neighborhood - Skytop Rover - who imports very cool old Rovers, mostly ex-British Army. There's a good chance this is one that he imported.

I had trouble retaining a sense of texture in the blurred water without totally losing the shadows. I could bump the shadows, but then they looked muddy. As it was, I compromised by letting the highlights block up a little and accepting very deep shade for the shadows.

I am still working out how best to process this film. With appropriate development resulting in higher shadow density, I might have had more to work with.

These are so bad for you, but taste so good. I can no longer finish this, but when I was younger
