Might this be the boat?

Sailboat runs aground in Venice; search on for missing skipper [Updated] | L.A. NOW | Los Angeles Times

There are several first person accounts in the comments following the article from witnesses to the grounding. The solo sailor's body was found a few days later floating in the sea off Long Beach. (LINK)

I finally developed the 127 size EFKE 100, in Fomadon Excel (Xtol)... 127 is a cute little format, 4x4 square images with the Yashica 44

Cute camera, cute film, great results! I really like your little silver/baby blue gem. Too bad the film is sort of rare now days. Have you tried Rollei Retro 80s with this camera?

What do you do for processing reels/tanks?

Steve, this was the first roll through - actually I bought the camera because I had the film The plastic reels have a 127 size setting so there's no problem there... the film holder on the scanner - what a surprise! - brings problems, but I can support a length of film on 3 sides.

Surprise! Surprise! I just looked at my Patterson clone reel and it does support 127. Too bad about the negative holder for the scanner though. The BetterScanning mounting station can be adapted, but that is an expensive solution.

I'm not seeing so big a problem, but if I do start shooting 127 on a regular basis, I might arrange a strip or two of plastic to hold the free end of the film.

Here's a crop from a frame of expired Provia, with the big one in the pic, the Mat 124ZG, and a Yashica close up lens:

I think I have had it with these one hour labs....I decided to have Walgrens process and scan my last roll of film and what they gave me back was total garbage!....I was beginning to think the metering was off, or I needed new seals, or the lens was junk and yada yada yada.......

Walgrens scans

My two minute scans on its lowest resolution all set to neutral.

I shot a roll of Fuji 160S at the local Lavendar Festival. I really love this film, and using the FA77 Ltd on film. Pentax LX FA77:

Sorry have not posted in a while. Just did a few pics with Spotmatic / S-M-C Takumar Fish-Eye 17mm and Ilford XP2.

Photos taken by my father in august 1968 during Soviet invasion of Czechoslovakia, he was 19 years old. Sorry for the "quality" but it`s just scan of 40 years old small photos.
