T-Max 400 in HC-110, scanned with new Canoscan 9000F. Great scanner for the price, with better results than my usual lab scans.

You have an eye for the documentary genre. We all like pretty flowers and sunsets and smiling children. But I'm often moved when I see our humanity exposed outside my comfort zone. I'm a amatuer photographer, green behind the ears. I can't offer much other than my point of view and this; nice scan!

That is a great image - and it is not your first great image of similar style in the forum. Thumb's up.

Some "refreshing" images from a few weeks back before it was hot.
All with MZ-S and FA31 or 43 on APX-400
All in the fog

Jason, I love the sky in your Ektar shots.

Luc, I really like the second image. Reminds me of living the BC coast as a kid.

Thanks Colton. The light and colours were very nice on the day I was taking those photos.

Luc, you must live close to a lot of natural beauty, always such nice forest and nature shots! I would like to check out that lake...

Yes here we are very proud of our "Super, Natural British Columbia". This spot is 20minutes from the city and a little bit of hiking (or a lot more of hiking if you start from the bottom of the mountain). You have to visit when you need a break from the roos and the beaches...
I always say that I need to go and take pictures in downtown but never go. I wait to be in Europe or South America for that.

Cheers,

Luc

You do realize it is only a matter of time before irreparable zoom creep is going to set in, don't you? (On the kid, not the lens).

Hi Folks. I just got back 2 rolls of filmed processed and scanned by a Pro Shop that is 2 blocks from my house. So close, yet so far. They have been their since 1918 and I have bought many things from them, but never thought about having them process my film. The film processed and scanned to a CD cost $7.00. Not bad at all.
What I did was crop for comp and resize them for web use.

Joe is a diabetic who sits in the corner giving out candy all day long.

This I shot wide open and this is where the focus confirmation on the ME-F really shines through (Thanks Chris P) This fellow is a mute. He had his tongue cut off. I have gotten to know him over the years and I call him the bird man. I call him this because with the money he collects he buys bread to feed the birds. He is greatly misunderstood, but he is my friend.

Javier .... that's a win with the camera shop doing your processing for you.
Nice and convenient ... I am lucky I have a good camera shop in my local area ... and found that he can also do my B&W stuff for me as well (has a dark room out the back of the shop as well).

Now I just need to get into shooting some film ... it was a while since I last shot some.
